  1. Does the super tacks kickpoint compare more to a nexus or supreme? I’ve seen people compare it to nexus as a mid kick but I’ve seen other people describe it as an aggressive high kick. I can’t shoot well in a game with a supreme but I can use both nexus and supreme whenever I’m just shooting around.

    Sticks have since been removed.

The seller said he is going to clean sticks and relist. They were trying to sell 5 sticks and letting me pick whatever one based on barcode but I wanted pictures of blade and shaft to make sure there weren’t any major cracks or chips

  3. I found a new seller for 1x lites. They claim that the sticks were just taped and not used and also said that they’d take the tape off the stick i want. I’m waiting for an email back from Bauer but I’m not sure how long it will take. Does anyone know if they serial codes look legit? They are the last picture. https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/sticks/5715594-bauer-senior-right-handed-p88-vapor-1x-lite-hockey-stick

I can only speak to how it compares to the P28 and it's slightly less open than a P28, otherwise it's pretty similar curve wise but with less rocker and a more square toe.  There's another thread discussing this curve so you may get more responses in there.

Does it start to open up sooner than the p28?

Can only speak from my own experience, but I've had two pro stock DX sticks ("T8DX" build) since March and they are both still in great shape despite 2 games per week.

from other reviews it seems like the dx was one of the better sticks that had good performance and good durability in recent years

I know this is a generational thing and I’m “old man yelling at cloud,” but those are probably the two worst possible sources for hockey equipment feedback. The Reddit hockey forum is full of, well, idiots, and most YouTube reviews are click-baity garbage driven by people who read the Reddit hockey forum. It’s people who know just enough about hockey equipment to completely get everything wrong, and do so in the loudest way possible.

I definitely agree with that, which is why I came here for a 3rd opinion. The youtuber did show his trigger next to his geo, but I’m not sure how much abuse it went through compared to the geo, even though he said it was less. Reddit has too many people on both sides for me sometimes but if enough people complain about it then I like to look into the issue a little more

They're supposed to be more durable but I had pretty disappointing results.  I used my Trigger 6 Pro for maybe 7 or 8 games and the blade started splitting down the middle lengthwise on the top and lost all strength.  I was pretty bummed because it felt great and was so much better than the Trigger 5 Pro I had broken and warrantied for the 6 (which is why I didn't warranty the 6, pretty sure you can't warranty a warrantied replacement).  I think the blade thing is just bad luck, I've had it happen on an FT4 Pro pro stock stick once too, but other sticks that I've had longer/used more have been fine so I woudn't let my experience scare you away from the Trigger 6 Pro, like I said it was a great stick with great feel.

It doesn’t scare me, but definitely gives me some food for thought. On Reddit there was a thread and 8/10 people said that they went through 1 or 2 sticks because of the blade. Also a youtuber said that the top of his blade split and would not be going back.

I hate that CCM started their retail "team" stick, really confused me for a while lol  As for the pro stick Team sticks, I've had good experiences with CCM FT3 Team sticks.  I got a few for just under $100/ea on SLS a few months back to try a new curve, all were the LK flex which is a pro/team option only, all performed well and were just a little heavier than the actual FT3 Pro I had (also seemed to be more durable towards the bottom of the shaft, didn't chip as much as the pro model).

How does the retail version compare to the pro ones?

Do you mean the retail Team sticks that are like the 3rd or 4th model down, or the prostock Team sticks that are sold to juniors level teams, like CCM Jetspeed Team sticks that are rebranded ribcores/triggers.

I didn’t even think about this. I’m interested in pro stock team sticks. I’m not sure what other brands call them but the Bauer “league” or “team” sticks without a warranty
