Correction - Stupid HP Bloatware! Glad to hear the video guy was able to fill the space though.
It's been over a year since I started....close to 50 games...not to mention all the hours I've spent on that mahcine prepping...first time I've EVER seen that pop up.

Middle of the 3rd period yesterday, A message pops up on the laptop that all my music plays off. "HP Assistant. Reboot is required". Options were "Remind me 1 hour, 2 hours...never"
So, since there is only about 10 minutes left in the period I quickly click 2 hours and ok....computer message pops up. "Windows will reboot in 1 minute" Program closes and the machine goes through the SLOWEST reboot ever.
There were 4 whistles and no Goals during the reboot. Thankfully, the video guy had short clips with music for the stoppages.

That was a bad call to not blow that down...but at the same time how many times are you told "play 'til you hear a whistle"??? No Whistle...but a bunch of Leafs stopped moving and the Habs didn't.
Same as the offside goal Duschene scored...he KNEW he was offside...but didn't hear a whistle...so he kept going.

Country singer Mindy McCready. 37. She had some modest success in the mid-late 90's...but her life has been a mess for the last decade or so. Drugs, DUI's, a bunch of custody battles. She committed suicide.

We have a regular shinny/pickup Sunday night. Last year for Superbowl, he moved it to 3p. The lot across from the rink (which is free Sunday night after 6p) is NOT free Sunday afternoon at 2...but we didn't know that. I think there were 5 or 6 guys who came out to $70 tickets. I would have been one of them, but I didn't play that night...

I know, everyone is sick this time of year...so venting about a cold is kinda, well...whiny, to be honest....
I seem to have gotten past the worst of my symptoms in the past week....except for this ONE damn thing. I have the feeling that there is something lodged in my throat!!!!! My breathing is not impeded at all....I can't wash anything down, I can't bring anything up.
Surely it is just iritation from the amount of violent coughing I've done in the last 3-4 days, but holy hell....it is annoying!

Not my "Sweet Spot" moment...but tonight a the Bulldogs game (as seen from my perch in the Press Box):
There was a puck out of play that struck a young fan in the Bulldogs end. I don't think he was badly hurt, but obviously somewhat shaken. During the TV timeout, while he was being attended to by Security, Medical and his father....Bulldogs goalie Robert Mayer skates over to the glass...gets his attention and passes his stick over the glass to him, then skates across to the bench, gets a new stick and goes back to the crease. Everyone in that section, and everyone who saw it gave them both a pretty good ovation.
Classy move by Mayer...and that kid will remember that for a long time after the bruise is gone . At that point we had Mayer tagged as the 2nd Star (34 saves in a 3-1 win)....we thought about moving him up to Number 1, but we were over ruled by one of the other Press Row guys.

The biggest difference I see is that the Bears have played meaningful games in December, made the playoffs (or been very close) and have actually played in a SB in the last 13 years. All things I can't say about Buffalo...so, he has had a certain amount of success in the League.

Bears finally dumped Lovie Smith.Your excitement for getting rid of him probably equals my excitement that the Bills might get him. Apparently, he has already contacted he Bills saying he is interested.

I've had different people tell me different things about that. One guy said drain the gas and store it empty, another said to leave gas it it to avoid any dirt/debris build up. I've always left gas in it...this is the first year I've had problems...it's an old machine anyway, I got it from a friend for nothing....it really doesn't owe me anything at this point.
I'm just glad it only took some time and a $6 can of Carb cleaner....anything more than that in parts would not be worth it.

Honestly, I heard there was "some" snow expected. Didn't expect what we got. I think I used the damn thing once last year, and it started/ran fine...so checking it didn't even cross my mind.

Speaking of going home, I'm flying back home today after spending a week in Canada :(So THAT'S the reason we've gotten so much snow...the Cali ex-Pat came home. Hope you enjoyed your trip!

After a brief lesson in small engine repair from my neighbour and a couple days of fussing, spraying, wiggling (cables and wires...not me) and cursing...I got the damn snow blower to start. Unfortunately, I had already done most of the shovelling by hand...because I didn't want to risk not having any day light left if it didn't run...but I did have it for the path down the side of the house to the back door...which would have sucked to do by hand.
But, as a Man vs. Machine moment...I get the point and that's all that matters!

Not hockey equipment, but I've finally found a Leafs hat I actually like (man, whats up with hats now? They're all AWFUL)
Team wise, I hate that hat...but design wise....I like the white stitching on the back/sides...but the frort would be nicer if it didn't have the 2 white stripes Blue stitching on the front.

Back in the day, I ordered my GF an "I <3 Darcy Tucker" (before <3 was a 'thing' yes, it pained me to do so) t-shirt from NHL Shop. I searched through my CC bills, and I honestly don't think I was ever charged for it...but she got the shirt.
