    You're missing the point I'm trying to make. If you read the catalogue, it doesn't mention the changed interior. Some websites and blogs (who most likely haven't even seen the product and are "reviewing" it based on reading the catalogue) are spreading bad information. My post was to reiterate that the helmet is changed and the info I posted a few months ago is indeed correct.

    Funny story (at least it's funny now), but I was looking at the catalogue and noticed that the IMS11.0 helmet was described as simply a Bauer-branded M11 Pro, and various outlets on the Internet were describing it as such. However, in my writeup, I noted that the 11 has perforated foam and PoronXRD in the liner. So, at this point, I was losing my mind, thinking I was spreading bad info. I went ahead and emailed CJ and he said indeed that the information is correct - The catalogue was finalized before the helmet was, and at the time, it was just going to be as described. I'm putting this up here to clear up any confusion.

    When SWA misplaced my hockey equipment, I vowed never to fly them again with my gear, and I haven't. Free bags, sure, but you get what you (don't) pay for. Just my experience.

    Really no way to compare them because it's a totally new level/concept. It will be interesting to see the final product and how it does on the marketplace.

    vtaenz - I can't answer why they chose the colors they did, but I've never had a problem with white equipment, personally. I really take care of my equipment (my youngest piece of protective is my girdle which is 5 years old. Elbows are 12, shins are 19 but I've owned them for 4. As far as your issue with them sliding down, a simple modification can be made on your part to replicate the Vapor system. Wouldn't be hard to install a strap hanging on the bicep pad as well as one on the elbow pad with the buckle. The pant has clips on both ends that lock when the strap is pulled. Pulling them the opposite way loosens it.
