What size is it. Is it narrow or normal fit. Can you compare it to a common glove. I want that glove too but i'm not sure about the fit, because i prefer tighter fittin gloves like Eagle or Warrior narrow.
THanks
These are Synergy 800's that were available at retail a few years ago. I rotate a few pairs of gloves, a different pair of 14" Synergy 800's, a pair of regular 14" Franchises, 14" Vapor XX's and 14" Vapor XXX's. The Frachises and the Vapor XXX's are certainly tighter than the 800's and Vapor XX's, all of which are technically the same size.

Already posted these in the custom glove thread.. but I've very please with them!

Waiting for them to arrive from PSHG!

That's a good idea. I was toying with cutting the velcro off or both leg openings and trying that. Problem is I bought these because I used to skate with the legs unzipped on my last pair until I got a skate to the thigh. Trying to avoid that again.
Sorry meant to say go 1 size up in the lowers, not the whole pant.
-
anyone know what lower half you can put on the 1053's to widen the legs? i have a pair i got for really cheap but hate the way they fit.
Maybe go 1 size up than what you've got? Obviously at the expense of some extra length too.

Not sure about the ones from PSHG but my team ordered a custom set of Synergy 800's in the CHI colour scheme and they are WAY better than the retail E-Pro's. The material, construction, and feel were much better on the 800's. They were also made in Canada.
Synergy 800 and E-Pro are different models. The 800 is older and still popular with NHL'ers.

For anyone with experience of ordering custom Easton gloves, any idea how look it took to get them made?
-
Scored again. Another pair of pro style 2pc (padded lower shell like the Tackla NHL pro pants... not the 9K style) pants.
These look exactly like my black RBK branded ones, I believe they're rebranded Jofa's. Brilliant pants.

Kovalchuk's cuff isn't particularly short, I thought this was called a "blooming cuff", or maybe thats something else..?
-
Woah. The red and black vapor XXX's were only 430g? I've got the XXX-lite with the grip finish(white and lime-green ish) and it's 465g.
Interesting.
Although those are different sticks, you could probably attribute something like 30g to a different flex and/or a different curve.

The bottom one is painted with non transparent paint looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/PRO-COMP-HOCKEY-BLADES-SIMILAR-CURVE-EASTON-BAUER-RBK-/150551555748?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item230d926ea4
They are also 145g and seems are not so bad despite of made in china.
These all came from the Warrior factory in Mexico, so I know they're some sort of Warrior construction, they're just not the Dolomite 2 type or the newer "checker board" type. Those are the only 2 Warrior blade constructions I have experience with, but I'm sure there's a few more!
Are they tapered too?
Very annoyed, I need some of these!
Yes they are, they've still got P88 and P106 clones in LH.
UPDATE: Just heated up one of the heavier blades with no visible carbon finish, when heating up the glue it revealed the newer "checker board" pattern on the hosel.

2nd delivery in as many days.. Marcelo did a great job with these names & numbers for me. Thank you!
I've not stitched them on yet by the way!
-
Cleaned out HockeyWorld of LH Jovo blades :D
Can anyone identify the 2 different constructions?
the top one (visible carbon weave) has foam visible at the top of the hosel and weighs 175g.
The bottom one (solid black finish) is hollow at the hosel and weights 145g, very similar to my Warrior Dolomite 2 blades.

Gary Roberts had the exact same cuff, must have been something he picked up from him playing in Pittsburgh.

a grip lite shaft left over from the Stevens days. ( he was the only one to use them)I'm guessing it hasn't got Stevens on the shaft. Shame, would be amazing!
-
neither, i think both would find red laces offensiveReally? Ovi's worn them for Russia in the past..
-
I'm a big Z fan, but can't think of anytime he would have worn black gloves. Where'd you get these? They'd go nicely with the rest of my wings/zetterberg collection.Dunno if Zetterberg did, but there was a few Team Sweden players who wore black gloves in recent memory. Its not something they're doing now.

I just got a new pair recently, they are BIG but theres nothing that even comes close.

RBK/Jofa 5K Pro's, swapped the rigid one-piece bicep guard for a more flexible set from a pair of Bauer Supreme shoulders.
