That's a great idea. I feel dumb, for not coming to that conclusion by my lonesome... +1 with the hockey and electrical tape on the butt end's. I was using a pair of Vapor XX and I'm not sure if it was the brand of tape I was using or the material of the palms, but I ended up getting huge horrible clumps of adhesive stuck to my palms and fingers. The palms got so nasty, like pine tar on batting gloves. I solved that problem by applying a layer of electrical tape to the butt end. Like you, I didn't notice much slippage. In fact, I just bought a new pair of R8 Lite's with the FFH palms in the same red/black color scheme! They are great gloves!

Sick dude. Ol' skool Jofas are the best. I second that. I had those when I played in high school. Kinda bulky but absolute tanks. Didn't fear jumping in front of any slappers with those shins.

Z-Bubble shaft is one of the best ever in my opinion. I have the Intake helmet also and think I it's great. Lots of ventilation and padding.

I wasn't crazy about the silver but it began to grow on me. I was originally thinking Supreme 70 but figured I'd wait for the new NBH line to come out. One95 was way too much $$$ for me and honestly I wasn't too crazy about the blue at first either. I felt the One75 was perfect in terms of specs and price and I learned to like the silver accents. Now I honestly prefer it over the blue and I absolutely love the skates.

That always helps but in your case you fill up then 3 weeks later gas is like 50 cents higher than when you initially filled up. I was on a business trip for a week and came back to see a 30 cent jump in the price of regular. I'm just hoping something happens to drive prices back down. I tossing around the idea of a new Camaro or Challenger next year after I get my masters. Hopefully prices are somewhat lower. Though, those new LS2's are pretty fuel efficient for a beefy V8.

The saddest day of my life was when I had to sell my '02 WS6 Trans Am. That thing was a beast but the combination of my open headers and needing 93 octane ($$$) and an hour commute to work everyday forced me to sell. Now I have a 2006 Scion TC in baby blue and of course I have a new job with a 10-minute commute! It's no Trans Am but it's not bad to look at and it gets 26mpg as opposed to 13!

Update: Finally tracked down a pair of ONE75's near me. Picked them up today haven't skated in them yet but so far loving them. I went down from a 8.5D in my old Supreme's to a 7.5D in ONE75. Was a little tight in the forefoot area and around the toes but I had them baked and everything fits perfect. :D

Helmet: Mission Intake w/CCM FM48 (from a CCM HT2) Gloves: NBH Vapor XX (from a CCM HG500) Shoulder: NBH Supreme 50 (from Jones Pro Defender) Elbow: NBH Supreme 50 (from Easton Catalyst) Shin: NBH Supreme 50 (from some old Vics) Pants: NBH Supreme 70 (from Tackla pro 5000) Sticks: NBH One90, Sherwood 5030 Coffey Curve, Easotn Cyclone shaft w/graphite blade (Used to have Koho,Louisville woodies and Easton UltraLite shaft) Skates: Still using my original Bauer Supreme Custom 4000 (they're beat to hell but still kickin... waiting for my LHS to get the new NBH Supremes. I would just order them online but I don't know how different the fit will be. If anyone knows how the One75 or Vapors compare to the 4000's let me know.)
