Did you tell them you wanted the Sanderson curve? :)Just got an email from a hockey company we all know and lots of us grew up using, the email contained verbiage such as "we have been watching your hockey reviews and we like how you do them and how educated you sound" and "we would like for you to try out a few of our sticks and give us long term reviews if you are interested, please give us sizing, flex, curves etc etc on what you use"

Nothing new yet for the skinny, shallow foot. Hope they eventually come out with something like the G9035 but in a 703/G3 fit. That liner looks so comfy.
Wait, did I read wrong and they got rid of the G3 and now only have the 703 for that foot shape?

I was really disappointed by the totalone gloves. I was a big fan of the fit of the supreme line until now, but I've found the 2013 totalones feel COMPLETELY different on my hand (quite uncomfortable, actually). For those who like the current supreme line, you're going to want to buy up some extra pairs on clearance.What about the fit was that much different? Does it fit wider? Like a 4-roll?

What would you say they were comparable to depth-wise? That was my only issue with my MLX.
I say a bit more than the MLX but if you were busting out in MLX's I don't think there will be enough depth in the Mako for you. Best bet is to try them on when they come out.

Krev - I fit into a 8.5 when I tried on a S17.

Gotta chance to try on a demo model last weekend. Didn't have time to bake it but right out of the box it fit like my MLX's. I could have skated in it right away. I'm sure post-bake it would be only better. Sizing seemed pretty close to MLX. I wear a MLX 8 with the thicker insert in it and the Mako 8 was pretty good for me. When they come out I'll try the 7.5 just to make sure but the 8 felt good lengthwise. Felt a bit more forward in stance compared to the MLX while standing in it but nothing too aggressive. Tongue is taller than the MLX so similar to other brands and better for those that want to flop. I'm excited for the release next year.

Broke the blade on my new pro stock RS. Only had it for 1 week and got 2 uses out of it.

I got really angry at my bosses over something that was out of my control and i got thrown under the bus. So i decided to find a new job. I found a listing for a temporary job elsewhere closer to home now that we moved. Since i want to work as a pharmacist and need to start as a pharm tech i took to this place that works for a medical company with Rx's
I got a call three hours later after applying, then i interviewed for the job on tuesday. The interviews last 5-10 mins and they tell you "talk to you soon"
Mine lasted 1 hour and we renegotiated the original offer. Instead of coming on as a temporary worker, they offered me a full time position starting on the 28th instead of the 18th. They also informed me they're going to open up their own pharmacy in the building so i will be a priority to become one in training.
The pay originally was going to be at 13/hr. Today they called me to say they've renegotiated the pay for 15 an hour until i meet bonus/raise levels. I love my life.

I'm 6'2" 185 and their XL jersey fits me well over my shoulder & elbow pads. Unless your really wide in the shoulders and waist I'd go with the XL.

Silly question. I always thought it was just called Bauer Bumps but you can get them in any make of skate, correct?
Any brand skate or shoe, etc that causes irritation in that area.

I honestly don't see how much the leagues can do to prevent continued head trauma. They can create all the rules they want but these are violent sports. You can assess all the penalties/suspensions you want but some guys will still target the head. Accidental head contact will still occur too. At the speed these sports are played at, a guy moves an inch and the targeted shoulder now unfortunately becomes the head. In sports like football your basically leading with your head. I don't know how you could change that game to drastically reduce head trauma without making it two-hand touch football.

It's nice to no longer live an in apartment...and actually have a yard...but holy shit...I hate doing yard work. Weeds...cut 'em, they come back....! Pull 'em...they come back! Spray 'em with chemicals....THEY COME BACK!!!! Mid level Nuke...they'd probably come back.
How bout scrap the yard and make it a concrete jungle. Turn it into your dryland training facility.

I feel "Back" I've had at least 3 goals in every game on my sunday games in the last four games, and in another game i had five goals, It's amazing how it feels to now be going full after so many years of being a little in fear from all my concussions and now feeling 100% just getting in all the areas, and even my mean streak is back!
What an amazing change.

They had like 14 of them initially. I picked up 2 a few weeks ago. Easy pick up for me since I'm local. It plays well.

Played pickup for the first time ever last night. Always have done league or stick times. Good group of guys, most 10-20 years younger than I, that were A & B level players. Fast pace really made me push myself. Fun time.

Is that a David Toews stick? I have a Jonathan Toews model but his also has #19 on the shaft and the curve is different.

New Eakin Widow with grip. Has a cool candy apple red glitter paint job. Was hard to decide what Warrior to buy. Was a nice Gaborik, Paille, and Lucic and more . Even Kovalchuck too, nasty toe to it. But most were Dolos with Widow or Dynasty paint jobs.

I tried on an 8D demo several weeks ago and it didn't feel wide to me. Felt like my MLX's and snugger than my old 8D X60s.
