Schools were off today so every kid showed up for stick time at 5:30 am. I was 8th one there. You have a cut off at 30 skaters.....why did I count 42 at one point. Thanks, I enjoyed my 5 feet of space.

Just got a job at the HockeyGiant that opened near me. Some extra money in my pocket for the holiday season on top of my Pretzel Factory paycheck, nice! Looks like I need to start browsing here more often again...I haven't been as active since I stopped playing ice hockey

Nah man. The work ethic you have here to run this site I'm sure carries over to all things you do. Sometimes interviewers make some strange and bad choices; it is their loss. Ask them for feedback (if they'll give honest feedback) and see if they tell you what area they felt you were not strong enough in for them. Then work to improve and keep in touch with them. Many hires don't pan out once on the job. Keep your head up.

Sounds like this guy doesn't care what you say to him and he is going to grab your stick as soon as you hop off the bench. That being the case, I'd just bring a backup equal or worse than his. Sucks for you but some people are just a-holes. He has no respect for you or your property and I'm sure if he broke it he isn't going to cough up $100-$200 dollars to buy you a new one.

Maybe not CNT's then. The Hejduk's I saw were labeled STC on the barcode sticker. Not sure what that code means then. Mueller's said RSS. Hejduk's were heavier as well. I was at the store's peoria location. May have other Hejduk's that are true RS's at scottsdale or chandler stores.

Since the lister is in AZ, I'd bet they are the CNT repaints from the local shop. Save $90 and call the shop's 3 locations. They probably have a few left.

Got mine from behind the mask in scottsdale. They also had some hejduk's as well but not sure how many are left
I believe the Hejduk's are RS repaints of CNTs.

Dropping off some mail at the post office and saw an older couple with their truck's hood open. Asked if they needed help and gave them a jump. Must have been 15 cars in the lot and no one had offered help in over 20 minutes. Felt good to help out.

NHL network in Canada isnt doing a replay of the this years Stanley cup playoffs...probably a good thing becuase I get out of the house, but there a few series i was looking forward to watching.
What are they showing up there? Cause I think I have seen every game at least 4 times plus same episodes of Pioneers like 5 times. Ready for anything different.

Chadd - Here in AZ a lot of times the ice is softer and damp from poor resurfacings and at some rinks there are areas of ice that more resemble a pond surface on a warmer winter day. Would the FBV be a better option than ROH with variable conditions on the same ice sheet.

He's a talented kid with huge up side who has some personal stuff to work through...who better to mentor him than Vick!
No doubt he has talent. Hopefully Vick can be a good mentor for him, especially Young's mental aspect of his game and off field dealings. If not Philly fans will eat Young alive and Tennessee will seem like a dream.

Actually at some stores that is a valid question. Some places hire people with no knowledge or don't play(or beginner player) and train them on product/fitting, etc. (or we hope they train them well) A good salesperson can sell any product/service with right training,knowledge and attitude. It does help if they can relate on a personal level though; builds customer's trust and confidence in you.

Warrior just put up pictures of the Versteeg pro stock pattern that will be available on the customizer. It doesn't look like the heel wedge toe kink that he uses now, it looks like the pattern that Miseaujeu described.
Looks similar to the Hossa Pro from BASE. Wonder what the differences will be between the Versteeg and Hossa when the customizer debuts.

Well, I gave in and bought some Luxe gloves. They'll go with the pants I just got so I have something to wear besides my Wings and Bolts gear. Should have them here in time to use on Friday night...

Here are the custom APX I just got back for my son. I find it odd the way they did the comfort wrap, or lack there of. Also the clarino doesn't appear to go as far down on these customs. We went custom because he has very narrow feet these are C width. Also we wanted the runners moved in to help with his pronation. I notice they did not use a third copper rivet on the front mount? We also had the heel counter "carved out" which I'm told helps reduce the chance of getting Bauer bumps. He loves the fit, its the first skate that completely locks his heel.
Is the top eyelet missing?

You just discussed why the world is going to shit. Even though the youth of today are given participation awards and are coddled and told by their parents that they are special, they in fact have become unable to think, speak, act, or have any ability to freely think and make the world a better place for themselves. Instead their sense of entitlement has crippled them to a point that they are unwilling, unable, or simply do not have the skills to survive as a pioneer or leader in life. Your post enforces my belief that a willingness to be accepted by a pack is more important than attempting to lead a change towards good.

Picked up few new twigs. Ekman-Larsson RS and Cal O'Reilly Widow. Plus got another TO Nystrom to go along with the one I got a few weeks back. Only used the RS for 20 minutes but so far kinda blah.
