    I found the Re-Akt 100 to be very narrow. The original Re-Akt fit my head extremely well and it was very comfortable. My previous helmet before that was a CCM V10. It was snug but I didn't feel it pinching the sides until maybe an hour into an ice time. With the Re-Akt 100, it felt too narrow for my head from the start. All three helmets I mentioned were size mediums.

    Those of you who love your Re-Akt and are considering the 100, I'd highly advise you to try it on before making your purchase.

    The cool thing about Tron is that we say it like it is. We say what other manufacturers and retailers wish they can type. If we don't like what you did we will let you know! We expect the same from you. Hiding behind a computer and making threats that are uncalled for is not our lifestyle..........{Names Redacted}. If you expect to get your ass kissed just because you made threats behind a computer ( lol ) forget it! Maybe Hockey is not for you ...there may be a gymnastics chat room next door!

    Nice, waiting for your boss/supervisor to chime in to see if this is the Hockeytron way of business...

    Of all the new Easton gear I've seen, I really like the HSX shoulder pads. In terms of weight and mobility it felt comparable to some of the other top end models on the market (ex. U+ CL) but it felt like there was actually something there to protect me. I will definitely try these on again when they are released and they may finally replace my heavy, but protective Itechs.

    My friend has 11k's size 7D and the holder says 271, but on the HM sizing chart it says 271 for that size, and there's a 272 on some descriptions.

    "Step Steel ST Pro Runners for EBlade Pro & Prolite Plastic Holder" has steel listed at 8(272). These should still fit 271's right?

    Also, since they are made in Canada, will I not get charged duty if I ship to Canada?

    No duty if you import a Canadian made item back into Canada but you may still be on the hook for the sales taxes.

    Skating on a 9 ft radius will be easier for maneuvering while the 10 ft will have more blade touching the ice to generate more speed. If you're used to skating on a 9 foot radius the 10 foot may feel like you've got skis strapped onto your feet the first couple of times.

    I haven't heard anything about Bauer offering a black coated LS3 so I'm not sure how likely that would be. We last saw something similar on the Vapor 10 skate, maybe we'll see it again soon?

    Two questions: is the Fusion runners in the new APX2 the same radius/pitch as the LS3?

    Any news of replacement runners from Blackedge or Step for the new lightspeed Edge holders?

    No, the Fusion is a 9 ft radius, same as the LS2. LS3 is 10 ft.

    There is no news of aftermarket steel being available for this holder either with Bauer being more strict about enforcing their patent on this design.

    Anyone have a chance to try on the new Supreme NXG gloves? How do they compare to last years Total One gloves?

    The cuff is more opened as mentioned, I find the fit is closer towards the Vapor APX than the original Total ONE. I really don't like the palm on the Total ONE NXG though, there are reinforcements on the thumb, palm and right below the index finger which are rather annoying.

    Anyone tried the Mako protective line... I have an itch to pull the trigger on ALL of it...

    Shoulders: The fit is pretty good but the caps are still a bit big for my liking. The middle piece between the shoulder cap and the lower bicep guard sticks out and is pretty annoying. The vest-like velcro on the front is a pretty good fit surprisingly.

    Elbows: Fairly comfortable but like the shoulders, the caps are too big. The middle strap on the Mako M5 felt very restrictive and scratchy. The one on the Mako was much better.

    Shins: Bulky knee cap that tapers down to the ankle. Good fit but I still prefer Bauer's system where the top strap is on the front.

    Anyone have any experience with their gloves? I like the look of the "pro" style model and was debating between that and the Eagle PPFs.

    The G65 model? Compared to the PPFs the gussets are more shallow, fingers aren't as long and the overall fit through the backrolls is closer to the hand as well. If you're familiar with the similar TPS or Winnwell models then you'll feel right at home with these.

    Having a stable name like E28 for a curve makes more sense that having an ever changing player's name attached to the curve.

    But it's not just that one pattern, it's for all patterns across the entire Mako line. I still hear guys referring to patterns by their names (ex. Sakic/Hall, Modano, Iginla, etc.) Very rarely do I hear somebody say I want a P4/E4 or a P7/E7 pattern. The Stealth line of sticks still have the names on them so I'm not sure why they stopped doing that with the Mako 2. If anything, the lack of will cause a small inconvenience among the bulk of casual customers.

    Please tell me you don't mean chinese knockoffs of NHL jerseys.

    Funny thing was all of the ones hanging in the store windows were chinese knockoffs. There must've been 15 jerseys. However when you walk into the store they have a couple 4-ways of legitimate Premier jerseys for sale.

    Funny thing about that is I always heard the Edge socks were supposed to be tight. I have a pair and they aren't tight and I have a 'wide shinguard'. I'll try the Trons soon. They also have the NHL 3 color socks coming in soon.

    Pro Edge socks or the retail garbage? The sizing is terrible on the retail version. Majority of people I've talked to don't fit into the Jr. and the Sr. is way too baggy. I wear a Large in the Pro version and it actually fits me... not to mention they're much superior in quality.

    I don't know if there is a happy medium to this. I don't mind when guys, who actually intend on making a purchase, come in and give a light flex on the pro stocks (since not all have the flexes stamped on them) but what I'm trying to avoid are guys who come in and flex every stick we have... or better yet, left handed shots who start putting their entire body weight on right handed sticks and vice-versa.

    How do you guys deter tire-kickers from flexing the shit out of all your sticks? I get guys that come in all the time who have no intentions of buying anything but love to give every stick we have in stock a good flex.

    Also, can't believe most customers still don't have a sense of putting things back where they picked it up. There's always sticks that magically end up halfway across the store.
