Warm up a skate oven, turn the oven off and put your gloves inside for 1-2 minutes. I like to heat one glove at a time so I can work it in before the other glove cools down.

It was quite a bit cheaper when I bought one. I suspect your ProSharp one will be fine.
At that price I'd rather have the Blademaster one. https://blademaster.com/web/en/gauging-accessories/249-br100.html
$105CAD is about $80US.

Related - I don’t have a COA for it. It was given to me in the early 90s before COAs became an important thing. Is there any company that can authenticate it for me this point or am I just SOL?
No companies will authenticate game worn jerseys, just signatures. Your best bet is to find any defects (marks, loose threads) on the jersey and photomatch it. Being a Gretzky, you should have tons of photos to choose from.

Get a job at a LHS and attend a Bauer PK event.

Get some heel lifts installed.

Post some photos and we can assess if they're actually gamers or retail replica/authentics. If it's indeed a game worn, the autograph will hurt its value slightly. Who issued the COAs? If they're from a reputable source (ex. the team) then it'll add value. The COA does nothing for the jersey if its issued by an unknown company.

Your local shoe repair shop should be able to help you out as well.

Coles notes:
Hong Kong is up 11-2 vs Kunlun Red Stars. Kunlun players start assaulting Hong Kong players from behind with gloves on. China is calling this a "collision" while all other media outlets are calling it a brawl or assault. 3 Chinese players have been banned. What a bunch of losers.

Dont worry about it too much if you barely fail the pencil test. Have your skates heated again. Wearing a slightly thicker sock for the baking process can help too.

I'd argue the Fusion steel is better than the LS2 crap you get with the S29.
I've warrantied more Fusion than any other Tuuk steel. The APX2 came with the fusion and an extra set of LS3 so people wouldn't have to come back for a warranty return.

That was one of the issues. So was pucks and sticks fracturing it.

The real question is whether or not the NHL finally gives more than a token gesture of support and really gets behind something. The biggest hurdle, in my opinion, is that the women's game just doesn't garner the kind of attention and exposure that it needs to really create the interest and ultimately consumer demand to be self-sustaining at this juncture.
Most likely the end. If they sit out a full season there might not even be a league for them to play in when they decide to return.

If they fit I'd go for it. Your getting a much better skate for the money.
Except for the flexible tendon guard and the LS fusion steel.

Talk to your local shop and let them know how much and what you're looking to buy. My shop would have entire teams come through when they were in town for tournaments. Can't really comment on specific prices but margins on current model hockey sticks isn't great.

Otny still makes the HM30 style cage. I'm not well versed on the differences vs the HM40 but they might be able to help you out.

Post of picture of your skates. I don't recall Bauer having a Hi-Lo setup until the Mission-Itech purchase in the late 2000s? Vapors came out in the late 90s and the first two gens (Vapor 8 and Vapor 10) came with the rocker chassis.

Sure the germs are not on your feet, but when you put the mat or towel back in your bag don't the germs go in it with them? I prefer just to stand on my shower sandals. When packing my gear I wrap the sandals with my skate towel and throw them in my laundry bag
I don't think people are concerned about germs. They just don't want to step into a puddle of water.

My current bag is pretty much falling apart now after 15 years of use and I'm looking to upgrade. I see a lot of decent looking bags out there for $50-$60 and wonder if the expensive bags are worth it. Other than skates & gloves, I tend to keep anything until it literally falls apart, so I'm much more concerned about durability, practicality and features such as small pockets to put tape in and so on, rather than price. I'm 100% willing to pay double or triple the price for something that lasts me many years and is quality, as opposed to cheaply made garbage I'll be replacing in 3-4 years.
Let's hear your experiences below.
You can always buy a mat from Ikea and use toiletry bags to keep smaller items together. The corners ripping and zippers failing are the most common issues for replacing a bag.

Haven't seen the E700 for a while but my local Canadian Tire has a bunch of old E600 stock remaining. Don't think the E600/700 came in XL though.

You can use blades made for the LS2 holder.

Odd skate sharpening question

Skating on sandpaper sounds like your sharpening lacked a finishing pass.
