Crescent Fresh 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 I'm a little late to this party (I was playing hockey in Vegas, what can I do). The best concert I ever saw was Pearl Jam at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO in I think June 1997. They were absolutely amazing. They were also good the other two times I saw them, once at Fiddler's Green in Denver and once at Pepsi Center. Something about playing at Red Rocks though brings out the best in most bands.Of course I'm biased, PJ is my favorite band. Live was great in concert, so was No Doubt. All at Red Rocks. I also saw Eric Clapton at McNichols Arena, and that concert ranks as the worst ever. He only played his blues stuff and and everyone left pissed off he didn't play any favorites except Crossroads. Oh well, win some lose some. Just like Vegas!
freq019 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2005 I kind of hate concerts now because other fans annoy the hell out of me, and my knees are kind of bad so I can't stand for long periods any more. I haven't been to a large arena show in years I honestly can't remember the last one I went to. Anyway best shows I've seen recently, Joseph Arthur, Mason Jennings, The Frames, MAS, Glen Phillips, Bad Religion, Fugazi and the Toad reunion tour.

Sir Douglas 22 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 yea...it would be worse with no fans. The band can put on the best show ever but without all the other fans there with you it would suck...there would be no energy, no interaction, no fun.
DMBfan13 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 I actually think a concert with only 10 people or so would be the best!! Well I guess it depends on the band is too. But if it was all acoustic or something, that would be kick ass!

I get sick of the fans who think anyone who doesn't know the entire life story of every member of the band is a poser. Then you have the people who want to sing along at the top of their lungs on every song, even if they don't know the words.

Just because I don't know the drummer's hieght and weight, how many kids he has and what college he dropped out of, doesnt mean I can't like the music. Those are the most annoying fans I have ever met. Tonight, I am going to see System Of A Down. Should be interesting since they will be covering songs off of their upcoming albums. mik3 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 lol as someone that enjoys hardcore, that's probably the worst part about going to shows. all the douches that show up who feel they have to try and prove their masculinity from the second they walk in the door.
