Considering each of those sticks have only been available to the public for about 6 months (give or take), I'm not really sure you're going to be able to get any kind of reliable answer. I mean, best case scenario is that you have someone with the same skill, size, strength, and style as yourself who has tried all 3 and managed to break them in some fashion to let you know which has lasted the longest.....

you are right. With stick durability, especially new models that haven't been weeded and tested by use by the thousands, any "results" would be anedotal/speculative at best. Just like in polling, for something to be even accurate +/- 4% margin of error, the sample size would have to be at least 1500 surveys. Prob even more considering ALL the variables as mentioned above.

I'd like to see the manufacturers required to publish their warranty claims info. That may be a better indicator of durability/quality, than some Joe Shmoe on a BB saying his stick lasted 1 yr. As long as the reader takes reviews with a grain of salt...

You are completely missing the point of a warranty. It's a warranty, not a garauntee. If the stick breaks from normal game play, you are not supposed to get a replacement. It's only from manufacturers defects, like the problems the V130, M-1, and some others had at with their first runs.

yup. I see that all the time.....folks who slam their stick on the bench or break it in the zamboni door, say this stick sucks or something like that.

I'm suprised OPS even have a warranty at all. Wood sticks never had warrantys and no one complained when they broke.

Thats cuz they dont have a 150$ price tag.

So, at what price does an item have to be before it gets a warranty? $30, 40, 50?

The RBK non-composite goal sticks are near $80, they have O warranty, yet some OPS at that same price do. What makes it warrantiable? Why aren't composite blades warrantied then?

you tell me the answer.

I wish I knew. I'm just amazed at how folks almost demand ops to be warranteed but never even thought about it for woodies. Are wood sticks immune from manf defects? Nope.

That would be interesting...... somehow track # of claims against # sold?
