CCM Externo E-60

I had to get them, they were in great condition and $15 on ebay, and I'm just trying them out. I was wondering how people felt with them that owned them. Also the overal gist of the skate. Is it high end or low end? If these don't work I'll prolly just sell them off, I couldn't go worng with $15 skates. thanks. (Tried a search and didn't find anything)

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the E-60s are high end for the "pre vector" line made a few years ago.

You are not wrong, they were top of the line $400 skates. Blues-91 scored a nice deal for $15!

They were very good skates, morfed into the vector.

I have E-50s and I love them, high-end skates. Picked them up last summer at Perani's cheap. Externo became the Vector line, like mentioned above.

they were good skates at the time, but they're like 3 years old now. if you can find a pair in your size, they're good, but that's the catch: they're so cheap because there are only like 3 pairs left in shops! i'm exaggerating, of course, but we're blowing them out because we're tired of having one box left. other places are probably pretty similar. but any pair of skates is great for $15.

I've been in E-60's for a year and love them. I bought them last summer for $90 because my 2 year old E-50's were going to be in need of new steel and the cost of upgrading to the E-60's was only like $20 more than new steel would have been for the 50's.

There are currently 4 guys including myself on my team who have all switched to the E-60's in the last couple of years and all are very happy with them.

Whats the shoe sizing difference with you guys? Like your shoe size and the size in E-60 you wear. I'm in 12 shoes with 10.5 eastons. The skates are 11's, think I'll have a problem? If so is there anything to do? thanks

I wear Externos for roller hockey...not the E-60, but I would expect the size of the boots to be identical. Anyways, I'm a 12 in sneakers and wear a 10 in my Externo Cage's. For $15 it would be worth the gamble. You could try thicker socks if they're too big, but that was an obvious answer.

I'm a size 13 sneaker, size 12 shoe, and take a size 10 in the Externos (and every other CCM I've tried). I haven't tried Eastons, but I think they size about the same length-wise.

I'm a 10 1/2 sneaker and an 8 1/2 in my Externos.
