eagle x70i gloves

i just ordered some new eagles

they are design 5 red/white/ red (design 507)

they offered me carbon model or regular. i got regular. are their any performance differences between the 2 kinds?

also, has anyone seen these gloves in this design or in another color? i would love to hear some opinions or what you thought about them.

Their is no performance difference in the material used for the back of the hand.

I had a pair in a very similar color last year and I have several pair in design 5 coming this month.

I really like my x70's. The carbon shouldent make a difference as its on the other side of the glove ;) .

beans how are the palms on those? i have that style X-70s in bkl/ylw but mine just have nash palms. i really like the feel of that type of palm but my lhs didnt have them in at the time.

I haven't got to really use them that much. I bought them a month and a half ago and they seem to be nice palms. Could just be me but compared to my other gloves (Pro Tacks) they seem to stay drier better.

My eagle palms lasted me 7 months or playing 4-5 times a week before the first hole. The X70 or X70i are a great glove, after wearing eagle I wont go back to anything else.

umm theyre just the palms that came with the x 70 gloves i dont know what theyre called... and dont get me wrong these gloves r great the palms just aren't really lasting.

i just got them today. i didnt expectthem for 4 or 5 more days. theyre exactly what beans had in his picture. i love them!!

it is like a tan color and very smooth. thought u had to pay extra for it,but i was wrong. the are rated a 100 in looks, hopefully the are good performance wise.

they feel like suede, but i wanst sure if they were goatskin. i have never seen either, so i wasnt sure. are these palms durable?

ive never used them personally but they are suppost to be one of the more durable

Ya they do get pretty crusty... and do any of you know why they have the black things? Theyre not very durable cuz i already have holes through the black thing on the palm and the thumb on my top hand.

I think the black part is goatskin and the rest is something else.
