PH_Hockey2 4 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Well ever sence my tennis season ended on May 15th Ive been able to go back to the shop to work. So I tell my boss i can work again and he said ok. Every now and then I go into work to do my skates and the other employer is there almost every time i go in there. So I ask my boss if I can pick up some hours sometimes and he tells me that There is nothing to do and he does not need anybody. So I said ok. Well its now Summer time and everytime when I go and sharpen my skates and drive by there to go to the gym the other employer is there. If there is "nothing to do and no business" why is the other employer there almost every day. What should I do guys? I mean I love my job and take pride in my job and my boss know this. I just feel like im geting the short end of the stick and sorry for the rant.

Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 I'm in the shop almost all the time. there isn't enough business for us to put another person on staff and pay them. If business is pretty slow there, they may not be able to afford to pay any of the part time employees.
PH_Hockey2 4 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Thanks for the advice guys, I talked to my boss today and it went well. He said that he wants to work the other employer right now because he is going away to school next month. So I will be going back to work next month and Im glad he's going away to school because I dont like him very much. Thinks he is the best in the shop but when he gets done with skates I see burn marks on them.
