From what i've heard, the 04 made Vapor XV's where excellent and marked at a great price.. apparently they feel almost up to par with the XX's, heard this from a few guys around the rink..

Those are XIs, not XVs. They're below the XV - mid to low-level skate. What drops it lower is the Tuuk + instead of LS. It's a good skate, especially for that price.

Did you get these in a store affiliated with Source-For-Sports? It might be their SMU model.

JR, i know he was talkings about the XI's and not the XV's but i was suggesting that these could be a better option for hattrick in which you still get LiteSpeeds and a solid skate for a fair low price, around $180 to $200.. even lower maybe because i think this skate is being replaced by the XIX..

maybe he doesnt want lightspeeds,I for one hate them.

ok, but im sure 100% of players would prefer Lightespeeds over just a standard cheap tuuk runner.. and there is not much price variation between the 2 skates..

thats why half the guys in the NHL using skates with lightspeeds swap them out for "cheap tuuk runners." Right

Well, there is a difference.. The Tuuks on your lower - Price point Vapors, are totally different to custom tuuks..

No there is not. The holder is exactly the same tuuk+ vs tuuk custom+ vs any other older tuuk out there. The steel will be stainless unless your looking at a bottom of the line skate (which these are not) which would likely have lower grade carbon steel.

1st off, theres no need for that remark.. and second off, your telling me that Profesionals in the NHL skating with non Lightspeed Tuuks use the same Tuuks off of a Vapor X, XI.. and so on skate ?

Yes I am. The tuuk has been the same since god knows when, except for changes in steel. The tuuk on the skate Hattrick is looking at is the same tuuk that was on the Vapor 10, Bauer 7000, Quest 1, the list goes on, all top of the line, near or at nhl quality skates.

Ohk Cavs, it seems as if you are 100% sure on this, it's just, i have examined the runner's on lower end vapors and the tuuks seem cheap and heavy.. i stated my point thinking that is was correct but it seems u know what your talking about, so im not going to argue with you..

vapor, on the lower end vapors the holders seem cheap and heavy because they have faststeel runners and the holders seem to me, that they are made of a totally different material than custom plus holders
