I found this in the sports section of the Toronto Star today. Thought a few were pretty funny so here it is for all of you guys.

Branding together for a common goal

The NHL promises to rebrand itself when it returns to business after the tentative CBA is ratified next week. In the spirit of love and friendship, the Star offers the league 20 suggestions for a new slogan.

Reminds me of a string of emails my brother and I exchanged a couple years ago after I saw a snippit that the Pens director of marketing had quit.

We figured he just couldn't handle the challenge anymore.

It was after the latest trade deadline firesale the Pens had. We came up with promotions and money saving tips for the team.

One idea: Point on the powerplay night. One lucky fan will be selected upon entering the building to play the left point on the Pens pp that night. For a $10 donation to the Pens salary fund, that lucky fan can also get a no-trade clause.
