twiztidwrista10 3 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 Tru my last 2 pairs of missions(s400, s500) Ive been noticeing some problems. There has been a problem with the pitch holder coming loose from the outsole. Ive tryed reriviting them but its no good. Ive never had this problem with any other skates ive tryed or had(bauer, graf ect.). I dont know if its a problem with the rivits, outsole or what!? Dont get me wrong missions are my most favorite pair of skates Ive owned. Its just this is a reocouring problem that im REALLY getting sick of and i dont know if i should switch to a diffrent skate. Anyways, does anyone know anyway to fix this problem FOR GOOD. Or is there a skate that fits similar to the mission? Like easton or so? Thanks for any help. Icedog03 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 Have you re-riveting with copper rivets instead of steel ones?

twiztidwrista10 3 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 No, just steel. Im not so sure its the rivets, I think it may be the outsole. They seem to break down pretty fast. But, Who knows. Ill keep the copper rivets in mind.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted July 24, 2005 Because of the plastic inner sole of the skate, you have to reset the rivets every once in a while. Every skate with a plastic sole has that problem. I used to reset mine every month or so and they went for more than a year without becoming a problem and I never had to replace any of them.I'm now in Kor, they have a similar fit and use a screw that is similar to Graf's system.
