Hey are these sticks as they say durable? I know someone whom has broken 2 as soon as he got them. I have always wanted one but dont want to pay big money if it will go to waste quickly! The guy who broke his is 18 and slapshots alot, i am 16 and slapshot quite a bit. Anyone else have one or had one, how long did it last?

Is it worth getting? why?

cheers, an Irish thing lol

I think the sticks durbality is ok besides the blades. They seem to chip at the toe and then just go to hell from there. The new ones do have a diffrent blade i think. I think its more like the 120 blade which isnt a inprovement if you ask me. ABS blades just never seem to hold up.

At my local hockey shop they are selling Vector V110 OPS for $150 Canadian. And the V120 OPS for $200. Good price, IMO.

off topic, but I dont think I should start a new thread, how does the shaft of the V110 feel??? I'm looking to pick one up. I'm not worried about the flexes, just is it a good shaft, durability? performance?

I recently bought one to use because I had heard that it was durable and the performance was pretty good, also. So far, I've used it in a game and in a stick and puck. The shaft has contoured edges and is kind of in-between a pro-radius and a traditional rectangular shaft, though I think you can get a traditional shaped shaft, too. It's pretty slick so I added some sex wax to it and it gives a little of a soft-grip type of feel. The pros of the stick are the feel and the balance. I could really tell where and when the puck was on my blade without looking. Performance wise seemed to be decent, too (again remember, how often I used it, which isn't all that much) with wristers and snap shots. The one downfall that I didn't like about it was the vibrations I felt when hitting slap shots. I must have hit about 15-20 in a row, trying to flind the flex point of the shaft but the vibrations were going up through my bottom arm and hurting my elbow so I switched over and started using my other new shaft that I was also trying out. My other shaft was actually stiffer but didn't have the same problem (I also have 2 other shafts that are similar in flex to 110 that I was trying and neither of them had any vibrations either). So, if you don't take many slappers and like a shaft with good feel and balance, this is a good shaft. If you take alot of one-timers and slappers, you might want to see if you can try out a friends (if you know someone who has a 110) first to see how you like it.

rossb.. 2 things bud..

1 - This aint a form of social chat messanger, so you might want to learn the PM system..

2 - Try doing a search on the Vector 110, you would be surprised out how many topics clash about the same product on a regular basis..

There are 3 top line models of your ccm Vector, the 110, 120 and 130, all increasing in modification over the years.

From what i have personally seen and heard, the 110 is a standard OPS weighing in around 470 grams, average feel and response, decent balance and quite the Tank.. But as i said, you would be amazed if you did a search..

hope this helped.

You could also check the review section. There are reviews on the Vector 110 and 120.
