L-2 disqused as a M-1 grip?

so i picked up 2 M-1 grip shafts yesterday from a local Pro team. now they werent cut OPS but actual shafts with a tapered hossel and the blades that were in them had a very short hossel. so could these have been L-2's painted as M-1's? with the whole painted response plus shaft situation i had, i wonder about these missions, anyone heard anything? i can post pictures if someone would like me to email the pictures to them

They probably had them painted up as M-1s because the L-2 design wasn't ready yet or whatever. I'm sure Justin can clarify this.

Exactly - Carter's shafts were tapered way before the L-2 came out.

What was your Response Plus situation? I've seen XN10s painted as Response Plus - I know a guy who has one.

I think he got a response plus shaft that was never cut...and he was curious if it was disguised but actually a redlite i believe

What do you expect? There isn't a Response Plus shaft...it would be a Red Lite.

As for sticks at the NHL level, we give the guys whatever they want...It's funny to hear these guys say the Red is lighter than the blue or vise versa...It is a head trip with some of these players...

We have made ever stick in every color combination you can imagine...Red M-1's, Blue L-2's...You get the point...
