Goatskin palms

Recommended Posts

Mission has a patch on the palm of the L7 and Eagle does it as a custom option.

Be careful using a grip stick with them. The palms have ripped out of the shell on a few Eagles I've seen.

Do you want the gloves? call an Eagle dealer, order them and wait 3 months.

Otherwise find a Mission dealer and order a pair of L7s. Or get Sande's with goal palms. Or get Salming gloves with a tack palm, Or CCMs with a tack palm....

Where can I find these? These are the palms that help you with "grip" on the stick right?

I don't know about changing the amount of "grip" you get. But goatskin palms were introduced because of their natural antibacterial quality (no more stinky glove smell) and because they never dry or get crusty. They remain thin and pliable throughout their life so you get better puck feel/stick feel whichever you want to call it...

Keep in mind that your gloves with goatskin will still stink and get crusty if you do not let them dry properly, just like every other palm.

After goatskin is worn down a little, you'll lose some of the grip. The palm becomes very smooth and very slippery if it gets the slightest amount of water/sweat on it.

Sounds to me what you are looking for is Digital.

Marcelo, does eagle have a digipalm? If not where can I get one?

Chadd's advice was actually pretty much to the point. :D

Eagle (Forte), for at least 7 or 8 years, has used Pittards Digital Palms.
