This is a good signing for the Avs, frees up a bit of room, because I think most people were expecting 4.5-5 a year for him.

I was surprised to see he is 29, I thought he was a few years younger, like 26-27.

PS, avs also signed brunette. I think this is a little better signing. Seems like a ok player. What do yall think?

He's a solid player that should bring some defensive awareness to the avs after playing in Minny. He seems to step in up in the playoffs after all he was the one that knocked his new team out of the playoffs.

He's only played twice in the playoffs. I think TSN has a different view on his D skills. I think its a good signing, but he'll be in an offensive role.

Now that moores cleared. I dont see any reason not to sign him. I always thought he was decent. I guess it depends if he wants to play and if hes still has what it takes. What do you think? Should the avs sign him?

I think that they should and will. Hes a decent player but all that hes been through, they have to imo.

Having Moore and May on the same roster could be dangerous. I think Moore will have to sign a minor league or two way deal to prove he can play before making NHL money. I wouldn't sign him to a pro contract until there was proof he could play at a high level again.
