Tuesday August 16, 2005 - (RDS.ca) - Those which dreamed to see Vincent Lecavalier in the uniform of the short-term Canadian will have to forget that. The attacker high-speed motorboat got along on a long-term contract with Ligthning de Tampa Bay, which should confirm the news in the next hours.

The details of the agreement are not yet known but it is known that Lecavalier will be treated like a player of frankness.

This signature thus means that number 4 of the champions of the Stanley cut will not become autonomous player without restriction on the end of the next season.

In 2003-04, Lecavalier marked 32 goals and obtained 34 master keys in 82 parts. In career, it counted 146 and collected 181passes in 467 meetings.

During the lockout in the LNH, Lecavalier played in Russia with the team Kazan Ak-Bars where it marked seven goals in 30 parts.

It's not perfect, but you get the idea.

As a quasi-bilingual former Montrealer, I find that translation hilarious. I especially like the bit about "34 master keys in 82 parts". Sounds like he's a professional video gamer. Babel fish is handy and always good for a laugh too.

He won't...because he whant too much...what the heck!? he a bastard lol!!...no he's not but till, By the way, i know the uncle of lecavalier he was the mayer of my home town...my grand-pa know him personnaly i have like 20 card signed by him...

with this new year, WE(montrealer) could have had a SUPER GREAT TEAM...if francophone would have accepted a 1,5mil-2,5 millions each

Imagine all the francophone...all represating the Canadiens...

Lecavalier-ST-LOUIS-Richard

Crosby-Lemieux-Bergeron

Briere-Ribeiro-Gagné

Turgeon-Gélinas-marleau

SPAIR:Bouchard-Damphousse-Lapointe

Begin

savard-robitaille-dazé

Aucoin-Brisebois

Desjardins-Bouillon

Robidas-Quintal

Brodeur-Théodore-Lalime-Hernandez-Bouchard YOU HAVE THE CHOICE!

Defence might be not the greatest but till... and you can certainly add MARIO LEMIEUX AND CROSBY TO THE BOAT.. crosby played in the junior majeur QUEBEC!

I don't whant to sound anti-english or anything...just i think it could be nice to have one realt francophone team like it was in the 60-70!:P

Tell me what your think about it!

Briere and Gelinas have french names but aren't french. Neither is Aucoin and last time I checked Robidas was no longer on the Habs and was born a hell of a long way from Quebec.
