masterpirate13 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 Hey guys and gals. I'm looking for a new pair of skates, price is not really a problem. I have tried on the synergy 1300C, the Kor Shift 1, nike V12, bauer supreme 8090, and graf ofcourse, because thats what I stock in the shop. The synergy's fit really well, the only thing was they were a little tight in the area where the toe box starts. The Kor's were awesome, I just think that the neoprene piece in the front will bug the hell out of me eventually. I really want to know about the mission lines. I tried on a S500 and it didn't really feel good at all to me. I'm really curious about the L7. Does anyone know what kind of fit they are? and what skate you could compare them to, I've skated on all major brands. Thanks for the help all.
JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I believe you can cut out the Toe Glove if need be.
masterpirate13 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 Yeah, I thought about that. I just dont want to mess up the skates. I like the fact that they are basically the best of every high end skate on the market. I just dont know how well the pitch 3 housing works.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 The Pitches hold up very well, I've only seen one holder problem and that was replaced under warranty.
dstidham 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 I just purchased some L7's a few weeks ago, and have only skated on them 3 times. So far I am pretty happy with them. I am not sure which skate I would compare them too, but I went from a Vapor XX to these. I didnt fit the SuppleFit line at all, those were to narrow for my feet. So I think the Litefit are a little wider. Hope that helps.
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 If the Kor's fit I would go for them. Don't let looks bother you LOL. They aren't half as bad as what I wear (V-12's). If the shoe (or skate in this case) fits, wear it!

The S seems a bit more narrow in the mid-foot area.If the Kors fit, I wouldn't worry about the neoprene piece, you get used to it after a while. I don't even notice it anymore. Chadd 916 Report post Posted August 17, 2005 without souding dumb...what is the neoprene piece you guys are talking about ?? just curius! It's in the toe cap. Some of the original testers didn't like the feel of the toe cap so the "toe sling" was added. It makes the skate feel snug even if the sizing is off by 1/4 size. If the shoe (or skate in this case) fits, wear it! I actually love the look of the Kor's. Its like a vapor meets the synergy composit with a pitch holder. It seems like they took a little bit of every top end skate and then added a little twist of their own, pretty neat idea if you ask me. I think i might just have to order these things up tomorrow. Does anyone know much about their heat molding procedure? I heard that you bake them for 20 minutes and then push them around your foot to form them...is that true?? Chadd 916 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 I have the heat fitting directions at work. I'll post them for you tomorrow. I've sold a couple pair, plus my own. B)
micke 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2005 Hey guys,i think i'll ask here instead of opening a new, annoying thread :-)So, i got a nice pair of skates (which i tried on in my lhs) but i think its too small. I can scratch the end of the toebox, but my toes dont sqeeze/squash, they are flat how they should be.I mean, if they are like this in the store, they will be pressed against the toebox because they will be under pressure and the feet expand?!Maybe punching or stretching the toebox widthwise (cause lenghwise isnt possible AFAIK) could gimme some centimetres of room?I could get such a nice deal, i dont want to miss it, but if you guys say its not worth the deal, i wont buy them.RegardsMicke
