Quick Ebay question

Im just wondering if i'm planning on buying a product on ebay by Money order, do I have to put in a Credit Card number at any time?

i think moner order are not so great...if i were a buyer i would never whant to receive a money order...just paypal

I mean paypal...is secure...and very fast...dont even take 5 minute to receive a payment(only downside...if you upgrade to a silver account whatever....well you have to pay a 2,5 % fees i think...each time you receive money...)

Anyways as a 15yr old it great cuz i can use my bank account and transfer money withtout my mom's credit card!!!:D

another question...if i put an item on sell on ebay...( i hav eto pay some fees) but what if i close my auction early...like decide to take off my item...do i still have to pay for item??

i think yes...but just whant to make sure...

I'm not a fan of money order transactions as a buyer. I've had an instance where the seller changed the terms he had agreed to before I bid -- I had asked if he'd send via a lower cost mail option -- and something else that I can't remember but it wasn't good. With PayPal -- bank funds or credit card -- you have better leverage to rectify the problem.

Im not a fan of money orders as a buyer either.I got scammed on Ebay one time .I bought a bike frame for $175 ,sent the money oder didnt get the item or get a reponse back.I waited a month ,then called the police in the guys area.The money order showed up in my mail box the next day.

If you close the auction early with a winning bidder you will have to pay the final value fee . If you cancel the auction the only fee will be the original listing fee .
