All leather gloves

I'm thinking of buying some high quality cowhide leather gloves. I know they are heavier than today's gloves, but I'm just going to use them for coaching, so comfort and good looks are my main criteria.

I know that Eagle has a few models made of real leather and they can do custom orders, but are there any other companies that either produce an all leather glove or will do a custom order? I'm sure there's not a big market for real cowhide gloves these days, but I still prefer them for durability and looks.

If I order these, I want the gloves to be oozing with quality, comfort and traditional look whatever it costs and whatever time it takes. So...what companies can do this on a traditional glove with four or five backrolls and a longer cuff?

If you were ordering a leather glove with Navy Blue as a base color, would you have the print/highlights done in gold or in yellow? I like the idea of Gold, but it may not contrast with the navy as well as yellow....I'm so vain...LOL.

You can get the Eagle L70, it's essentially a real leather X70 or the L29 if you want the longer cuff. I believe they are on page 5 of the catalog. On an Eagle custom order you can get just about any color you want. That would be L29 in 131(navy) with Bijou print.

Is "Bijou" a gold color? I don't know the fancy colors, lol. Its like when my wife says she's going to paint the pathroom and asks if I prefer sage or periwinkle. I just say whichever one she said first, cuz I don't know either one.

Bijou is Eagle's shiny gold color for logos and print. I believe there is an example in the Eagle catalog posted in the catalog section.

doesn't DR make the Legend series in a pure traditional style? I tried them on at work and they're pretty slick. I don't know if it's real leather but they felt really comfortable.

Some salesman I am, I had a pair right in front of me and never thought of mentioning them. The catalog says that they are leather with a goat palm. I've sold three of the five I brought in and all three guys love them.

I love em...cost me forty bucks and there prob. the most original gloves you can imagine...thats why i like em....any team i play for...all black gloves will match. hey chadd...u said that you sell eagles? if so ...if yoiull give me a price i might be interested.

Yeah, I have a Old pair of Louisville's in Black leather. GLTPS is the model. They have the "L" on the longer cuff and the only place they have TPS is on the backroll.

I just keep them conditioned with Lexol and the still look and feel great. Excellent gloves.

I bid on a pair of Eagle L-29's a few days ago on Ebay, but I figured I'd just drop the big ching and get them custom in Navy and Gold with my name on the cuffs or maybe "shoot" on one cuff and "pass" on the other. (Just kidding)

That's actually not a big upcharge over standard gloves. The real issue is how long they take to show up.

Yes I do sell Eagles. I currently have X70s in white, silver carbon, black/silver print, Fusions in silver flash and x70i's in white, silver carbon, black/silver print, black/bijou print and orange and black design 5 carbon. We haven't sold many Eagles this year, people around here really resent the price hike and they aren't as rare anymore.
