I'll make sure I get to a few of your home games, and a game at Buff State. Of course, I say this before checking my own schedule...

...Any rivalries I should know about?

My friend's brother was going to Merrimack this year, but had bad SAT grades. So most likely will be playing for them next year, unless he goes to another school.

i actually think division 1 is beeter than some chl teams

and kovy, concordia, mcgill and universite de montreal are in the CIS, which is not even close to d1 US which is going to be a huge feeder to the show soon IMO, much more than now.

Some CIS teams, especially out west like University of Alberta can definitely beat and or compete with most Div. I teams. Their entire roster is made up of WHL grads and even a few who were drafted to the NHL as well and is going to play some Div. I teams in October including Minnesota.

The problem with CIS teams are they have alot of guys who couldn't step to the next level. Solid WHL players (in your example), but they don't generally have that one or two gamebreakers. Top NCAA teams have a lower bottom end (from what I have seen and heard), but their top players are better and they'll just play them to death if needed.

Yeah, I'd agree with you. Most of the players could be East Coast type guys, but nothing more and in most cases going to school was the better of the two. I honestly think that some on U of A could be marginal AHL guys but I think most look to Europe after they are done with school as they are in the 25 years old range.
