What size laces... size 8 skate

My Tour skate laces must be the largest they make. I created a thread a while ago asking why manufacturers for roller skates always make their laces so long that you end up needing to wrap them around your ankle before tieing them so you don't skate over them. I got a few replies, and later spoke with someone from Mission who said they do it to keep costs down. It's easier to put one size lace on all their skates then using different sizes.

Anyways... what size lace would I need to fit my size 8 skate? I'm guessing 108in? I don't want them wrapped around my ankle and I want to be able to easily tie them (not too short)... but also not too long.

The proper length varies by model. For example, my V-force pro stock needed 96inches, while my quest 2s needed 120in. I had to do some trial and error before I managed to find the proper length. Grab some old skate laces you have lying around (or a friend's), see how they are on your skates, then measure them. Then go to the pro shop to experiment.

I know that 108's are too long for my bauer 8090's, size 8.5 D
