sundin injury

Recommended Posts

The thing that cracks me up is there is no reason not to if you aren't a fighter. The funny thing is most guys who don't wear them say it is because visors effect their vision on the ice. I suppose they've never watched Iginla, Kovalchuk, Kariya, Sakic, Forsberg, Selanne..........oh well, you all get the idea.

Apperantly a 6 week injury. Likely so see Lindros step-up into his role and then Wellwood called up. Not terrible, and thinking, it's probabluy better a freak accident happens to Sundin rather than the other centers (I think the world would've collapsed from all the Leaf haters "I told you so").

I think its much easier for taller guys to get away without wearing a visor than shorter guys. Anyway, its his choice and he is suffering the consequences now. Hell, visors aren't 100% injury proof- i.e. Hossa. I'm with Eazy on this, I'm not too worried about it. Let him take his time and get healthy, while Wellwood can play. Apparently Lindros looked really good in his first game (I didn't see it), so I have no problems bumping him up.

Lindros looked great. It was a game we should've won. I thought the Penalties could've been even higher, especially in OT and late. It was a good game to watch. I honestly can't see Ottawa losing a SO.

The orbit is the circle of thin bones that houses and protects the eye, even extending behind the eye and nearly wrapping around it. The orbit includes the eyebrow, the bridge of the nose and the cheekbone.

i googled orbital bone and found some pretty sick pictures of eyes cut open and such. thanks for the correct answer though.

I wasn't exactly sure myself and I wanted to know. It looked like Sundin took the puck above the eye, and others have taken them below and had broken orbital bones.

If I can dig them up back home, I'm putting up a nice clean shot where you can see the bone under my eye and the ensuing Balboa look.
