Could it be why my synthesis sicore is splitting all the length of the heel??(but with a tape job it protect it)

I ussually tape my stick every 5-6 ice time..but when there is a hole or the bottom is wearing out i just put a second piece of tape...

for composite blades i tend to be a bit lazier and use the tape from a game for a practice, but still no more than 2 icetimes with 1 tape job for me.

Is it important to remove the tape from composite blades ? Does moisture pose the same problem as for wood sticks?

the moisture doesnt really pose a problem but the tape protects it from chipping or deep cuts. once you get a reasonably sized chip in a graphite blade it is gone within a week from my experiences

Thanks mm705, im take a good look at the 6K shaft because it has grip, and am i correct in saying that the Stiff flex 6K is equal too 100 flex in easton?

Stiff should be 100-105. Good Pick. Liked my 6k till it snapped. Not a durability issue, just got caught in two guys legs going opposite ways and ...crack.

Vector 130 is awesome for performance.... just the crap stickers you have to put up with... worth it for my money
