Since were talkin about golf, I got my 1st eagle yesterday!! 305 yd par 4, holed out from about 25 yds. If any of ya got a eagle before, were was it and howed ya do it? Any hole in ones?

Couple eagles on par fives for me and one on a par four from 122 yards out.

I'm still excited about getting pars. I almost got a few Birdies this year, but my putting was ass when I was really driving, now my driving is ass and my putting is on. Damn Golf is frustrating! Any ideas on how to keep practicing in the Winter? I'm going to take a few lessons once I get time, but I'd like to hit something up. There's an indoor driving range about 45 minutes away, but its a long drive to do that. How are the animated golf things where you hit it into a screen?

The animated setup at the one shop back home helped me a lot. It showed my swing path as well as the face angle and swing speed. I used to hit that once a week and I dropped 10 strokes a round after going there once a week for an entire winter.

For lessons, or to play actual indoor rounds?

If it has those features you can learn while playing a round. You can work on getting an inside-square-inside swing path and learning your distances with each club.

One eagle for me - 480 yard par 5 - Hit driver, 5 wood to the greenside bunker. Funny thing, I hit it out of the bunker and into the cup..no roll or anything pretty much 'slam dunked' it for eagle.

don't remember my first eagle, but in one of my tournaments this year i had a 2 on a par 5. It was a 547 yd par 5, hit my drive about 315 and they knocked my 3 iron in the cup. It's about the only thing i will talk about from that tourney... ended up shooting a 75
