does tor play only at home on sat nite?

Recommended Posts

after watching hockey nite in canada i started thinking about (cbc) and their love of the leafs. being in detroit i'm stuck watching the leafs. i would like to also see some sens games. but each sat nite so far this season the leafs have played at home, has anyone else noticed this or am i wrong? and are the leafs sat nite games going to be at home all season? if so i think that is a serious problem.

your thoughts.

thanks theo. hopefully cbc will show the sens here insted of the leafs. i get tired of watching the leafs every sat nite. for various reasons i don't have a dish or expanded cable (oln, fox sports detroit). i just think that cbc should change up the teams every so often.

The reason your only getting leafs game is because of the region your in. CBC has a new thing that shows sens games in the ottawa area and leafs games everywhere else. So if both the sens and leafs play your going to see the leafs game unless you live in or near ottawa.

So the flames, oilers, and nucks get the shaft?

One of those teams is always in the second game of the doubleheader.

not so much the flames. they always start at 7. the rarely get the second game to themselves. if there on, chances are that they are playing another canadian team

Toronto will play at home 95% of the time. Montreal and Ottawa games are the exception. It's an advantage and disadvantage for the team. They know they'll be at home on Saturday nights, so their road trips will never be extendedly long, but the schedulders also have to slide in some road games the next night. They play Washington this afternoon.
