Tightness of top eyelets

Do you guys prefer your top eyelets to be lased tight or loose.

Might it depend on the stiffness of the boot?

i've got tour fishbones, the very top eyelet isnt even tied at all. However, the second to the top eyelet is tied tight.

It differes from skate to skate with me. I like keeping the top eyelets of my Nike and Mission skates pretty tight, but with my Tours and my Vectors I like to have them very loose at the top.

Tight now that I skate Missions, but I used to skip it when I had Tacks.

I like my laces tight all the way to the top. Usually I re-tighten every other shift too even with wax. Blasted weak ankles....

I tend to lace my boots snug, but not tight on the top couple of eyelets. This is so I can roll my ankles on turns and I don't feel like I'm "fighting" the boots to turn. Learned this as a kid in power skating classes and it's worked well for me since.
