TPS Genesis Shaft

How is the feel of this stick? Is it more a wood feel or composite? Do you think that it would be unbalanced with a wood blade or composite blade? How would you compare this to a Synergy ST? I have read the review on this shaft in the sticks review forum and learned that it is very durable and that's what i want: a durable shaft. Please leave your thoughts about the Genesis. Thanks.

Its a great shaft feels better balanced with a wood blade IMO. and it is a tank. do seem to "break in" a bit after a few weeks but nothing too drastic.

i think thats the way with all tps shafts tho. both of my Stiff flex R+ and XN10 feel like 100 or less now.

i find its better balanced with a wood blade, as i had a vapor V blade in there and it felt a little to shaft heavy, but with a pretty light wood blade like the bauer 1000(its what i use). it feels great.

Its simple, its meant to be a shaft that can take abuse and it is so true how there shafts get whippier I noticed mine go a little soft but that works to my advantage. As for the balance I used it with an Easton Hybrid composite the balance was pretty bad, it was too blade heavy but with a TPS wood blade it was quite good, light enough and just heavy enough to give you force when checking the stick. It is unreasonable to compare to an ST since its desgined stricly for light weight and performance. What you get from an ST is probally a better shot veolocity since its an OPS and its tapered, what you get from a Genesis is just solid durablilty but nothing special with your shots. Ive used it for a while and the paint just chips like crazy but no complaints yet. Great durability stick in the end it will work to save you money if your the type of player to snap sticks.
