I played him in minor hockey. He's a great goal scorer, but I always thought he needed work on skating, but I guess hes proving me wrong, witht the way he's producing in the O...thing that sucks is he is an elite plaeyer right now and still has to play 3 more seasons in the O before he can br drafted to the show.

Kids UNREAL. I work at their practice rink (Children's Arena in Oshawa) and he is absoloutly unreal. I've also seen him play many times before for the Gen's and for a kid a year younger than me hes insanely good.

I know him personally, played against him a ton. He's got a gross shot and dangles like you wouldn't believe, but his skating leaves something to be desired. Is a bit shy from physical play but with his body type that doesn't matter. But he handles the puck on a string, its ridiculous. An amazing all around player, plus his draft isn't until 2009..

Absolutely. If you watch a Midget AAA game, his skating would be fine. Since he's in the O now it looks out of place. For me, its just that skatings my game, so whenever I played against him it's what I would notice. plus he's not even close to fully coordinated yet, so he will be fine when he is.

Yes, I played against him for a couple years, until he made the jump to the 89' division. Very good hockey player, especially with all the pressure that put upon him. What i would like to know is how his grades are now, since the O' , from what i heard he was smart before, it would be interesting to see how well he balances his life, especially at my age. Definatly an inspiration for me.

I read how he finished to years of school in one year, while playing 68 games or so. Doesnt sound to stupid to me. Then also wanted to go to college to by a neuro sergeon. Doesnt sound that dumb to me.

You're thinking of Angelo Esposito, who is an '89 and plays in the Q. And yes, he did finish two years of school in one, and wanted to be a neurosurgeon.

He's a young gun who is good enough that he caused a minor controversy last year when the OHL changed their rules specifically so that he could play.

I know one of the Marlies head coaches (not his) when he was there and this guy wasn't sure whether he had everything to kill it in the NHL. Of course as others have pointed out, he is very young so things could change in either direction.
