I just don't think he's all that bad. It's entertaining, if anything. You guys need to just take it with a grain of salt. The sad thing is that you yourself wished AIDS on him, and someone else said it would be "nice" if he had a heart attack and died on the ice.

I'd say he's approaching Lemieux levels, but I didn't think Claude was as vocal off the ice towards certain "groups". There will be dirty players, but a guy like Avery doesn't come along too often. He is dangerous, I think he does create some intensity on the ice, but I'd take him alot more seriously if he fought one of these guys.

i will admit hes not a good fighter and hes kind of small and as of late my breath may smell like averys weiner but he does need to drop the mits, but then again i think maltby needs to drop them too, i think avery vs barnaby would be a nice tilt

It depends on how far you take your "fandom." For example, there are people (I won't name anyone) on this board that change their gloves every time their favourite player changes gloves - that is insanity and, possibly, a case of a closet man-crush.

Yeah, but Barnaby is a pencil neck. He doesn't fit the mold of a traditional fighter...he looks skinny to me, although, I do imagine he's quite strong...just not as strong as the true fighters...

I think you misunderstand what a man-crush is. It refers to a non-sexual infatuation with another man. It doesn't mean you're hoping to take that poor guy home to bed with you. People usually have man crushes because they have a great respect or admiration for another. I have a man crush on Jeff Carter, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, lol.
