Vector 6.0

Recommended Posts

I recently noticed my Vector 6.0 skates that I bought about a season ago, have not been airing out. Im on a high school team and we have our own locker room at the ice rink and ive noticed that my skates are still wet the day after practice and games. We hang everything up and have racks to put our equipment on so everything is properly aired out. My dad was telling me the other day that I have to take out the footbeds because my skates are rotting out. Ive noticed the rivvets are starting to rust and my footbeds seem to be developing a fungus or mold. When I first had these skates I never found them wet. They seemed to air out fine. I dont understand? Any help would be appreciated.

Skates need help drying. Static air cannot dry deep inside the toe box. Blow cold air directly into them (i.e Dry Guy or other boot dryer, evenold hair dryer.) or try the new KOR skate dryer.

Right now I have them lying upside down on a rack with the insoles out. It just seemes like I never had to go through all this trouble just to get my skates dry.

unlace them about half way and make sure the tongue is pulled away as well to help get more airflow.
