WAMPS19 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 I would not use Windex as it can diminish the urethane on your wheels. Get yourself some Grip Juice.
#96 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 I use rubbing alcohol either 70 or 91%. I hear it's not good for the wheels, and I'm sure it isn't, but in the years I've been doing this, I have not noticed any sort of shorter wheel-life or breakdown. Pretty much all my wheels last about the same, half to 3/4 a season (of 3 to 4 games per week).

I have used Windex for YEARS.It has zero to very little effect on the wheels for a quick cleaning. If you were to soak your wheels in windex overnight or something...then of course you would have a problem. If you simply spray it on the wheels....give them a quick scrub.....dry the wheels off you'll have no problems. notorious#29 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 I have been using 70% rubbing alcohol for a few years now, works just fine for me. I always just dab a little on a rag and whipe over my wheels, takes dust and dirt right off. I have never experienced any damage or early break down form it.Never tried grip juice, though I hear good things about it.
