M-Cohen 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 as far as i know the "Intel ********" Video cards are not really worthwhile.. And they will not work with any new or some older games. if you want to play NHL or anything other than that i suggest upgrading your video card which can be reltivly cheap ($100-$150)
Gongshow11 1 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 it works for nhl 2005 though

Project_2501 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 Integrated Intel "Extememly Crappy Graphics" is just that. Piss poor. You'll never play any game at a good resolution at high IQ ever. For more info (Maybe over most people's heads, but it's okay) go to www.hardforum.com I have an account there under the same name, and can answer a lot of your question here or there. Your problem is a weak card. Update or no dice for you.
tburk32 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 you can go to the website of your graphics card or search for updated (insert graphics carb here) and it should have a place for you to download it. for more help you could go on www.eahockey.com and do a search for crashing or somthing in NHL discussion im sure you should find somthing there if the update doesn't fix it for you
hockeyblood 11 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 try updating ur video card driver, but integrated GPU usually suck. Try modifying your system, i suggest Nvidia 6800 or 7800 GTX if you can afford it. What sucks about the nhl 06 though is the actual game play can't be anti-aliased. jbyun04 7 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 NHL 2005 has lower graphical specsI can play that no problem on max graphics with no problem but for 06 i can't even go max resolution. If not check if your card meets requirements but I would definatley reccomend you get a new card.
Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2005 I found the best way to fix these type problems can be summed up in one simple word....xbox.Seriously though, depending on how much you want to spend, consider the Geforce 7800GTX, but its going to run upwards on $500-$600 USD

Sure, they're great. Until you realise that you can't change resolutions or do anything to increase IQ... Perfect for the person who doesn't care... Right-ho. Recommend a $220 6800nu then a 7800GTX costing $500 right next to it... That makes sense, right? Get a 6600GT, they can be had for about $150, or from ATi a X800GTO/2 (GTO2 is PCI-e). That will run you a bit more (about $220) but will serve you much, much better than the 6600GT...
