Rebellion products

Recommended Posts

Has anyone here ever tried any products from Rebellion? I haven't, actually I haven't even seen any up close, but they do look okay judging by their website, especially the gloves and maybe their sticks (I THINK they make OPS too but I can't find them on the site, but I have seen players using an OPS like stick of theirs). The skates look weird though with that 3D blade. Opinions?

They had some skates at the expo that didn't have the 3D blade that looked somewhat nice. They also had OPS on display.

The gloves are supposed to be really good. As for the skates, I wouldn't mind trying a pair of the conventional blade ones on but i am not holding my breath to ever see a pair in person in a shop around here.

I currently use Rebellion gloves. If you like Sande, Muskoka, or Tour G7 gloves, you'll like the Rebellion gloves.

On the sticks page it shows three shafts that all look just like the Tour shafts, and it even says that they have the soft grip and Tour Wave technology. So I guess they just put a new paint job on them? Anyone know for sure?

i've been wanting to try a pair out, but i don't really want to buy them before i know, and theres no one around here that has them, but they look pretty nice. i'm not a big fan of those 3-d holders though.

For my Retailing class this year we had to send out a business letter asking companys for selling reports, anual profit reports...so on. So I got a package back from them very quickly with a catolauge and some company info, and the guy sent a letter saying he would like to send me a "split skate" to use in my presentaion but he could not send it to a P.O Box so I gave him a street adress to send to and with in a few weeks I got a fair sized box come. I opened it up to find a t-shirt, golf shirt (both very nice), mini stick, stickers and the skate cut in half he sent me. Awesome Company, now I just got to try the products.

i use the skates, the gloves, and the sticks. I really recommend the gloves. My coach Kent Bengtsson is the manager of rebellion so he showed some nice colors you can have on your gloves. I have white gloves whit silver text. The skates is really comfortable but i little bit heavy. I have the 3500 and they are white to, looks like Graf Great White (But i have to say that Great white is better) The shaft is easy but haven´t so good flex design and brook easy. The new OPS is very good. A new grip and a new pattern who is named 23 and is a copy of Sakic.

One of the local refs has a pair of the skates and he said they weren't holding up well at all. They aren't the ones with the funky holder either.

I was actualy a fan of the Hero gloves. I loved the not so obscure way he marketed them. "Hey guys, (his username was hero btw), LOOK AT THESE GLOVES, I cant quite see what company these gloves are, can anybody else?!?! In big bold print HERO. Hmmm... I wonder

Had to dig this old thread up just to inform you guys that Sheldon Souray is wearing Rebellion gloves now, while playing for Swedish team Färjestad. He started out wearing Oakley and Bauer gloves but has now switched to Rebellion, wonder if he'll stay with them whenever he's back with Montreal? Has anyone ever seen any NHL players using Rebellion gear?

I don't believe they paid the fee's. I watched that Farjestad and Modo game last night (at least thats when it aired here) there was a few Rebellion OPS. I also heard Forsberg had been wearing Rebellion skates as of late? Anyone know where I could see some pictures?

No, Forsberg has been wearing XX's the whole season (except for the preseason when he was experimenting with XXX's).

If you mean pics of Souray wearing Rebellion gloves, I haven't found any just yet, but I'll post them here if I find any.

they carry rebellion geat at the rink i play at. they're actually somehow offically tied into the rink.. whether theyre a sponser or the rink is just an offical place to buy the gear.. its pretty nice stuff. the skates are very confortable and the gloves are nice too. i havent tried the OPS but ill try to get my hands on one sometime soon. a teamate got one at high school tournment for being MVP or something like that and he said it was a good stick just not as good as the si-core he was already using.
