When do the big guns get to show off their skills?

Apologies if this is me asking a blaitently obvious question. But when is the all star game this year, and i presume the skills competition is at the same event? Thanks

well would you rather watch the Olympics or an all-star game? Me, i'd want to watch the Olympics WAY more...that is if it gets televised over curling <_< :rolleyes:

my olympic itinerary:

1. Hockey

2. Curling

3. Curling

Curling rocks

Lmao.

When do skills competition normally take place? Also when do they show them (After or Before the game?) We dont get alot of NHL on tv in the uk. :(

They don't normally televise team skills competitions - at least, I've never seen one. I'll miss the skills, but yes, the Olympic tourney will be even better.

Curling does ROCK. No pun intended.

okay, I dont know about you guys? but I dont mind watching curling, but over an all-star game?

I usually don't watch the game, Just the skills competition

remember the year they put the sensors in the puck and it glowed blue and red during shots. If they did it again, maybe they could draw more fans to watch games.....wait, hockeys not on regular tv for me anymore anyways. I can't even watch a game. I love olympic hockey, I would rather watch womens hockey over curling though.

the answer to this is to have a skills comp at the olympics...

fastest skater

breakaway contest/hardest shot

puck control relay

3 players from each country and 1 goalie (#3 goalie is ok)
