helmet screws

i have a bauer 8000 with a 4000 cage on it, but every so often, the two front screws come really really loose, and it's fallen out once. i always tighten them, but is there anything i can do to keep them from loosening at all?

put a little blue loctite on them.

Yeah, make sure it's the one that just causes friction, the red stuff seals it, that could be a problem down the road.

Before putting the blue loctite on the screw, clean off the threads of the screw and the part that the screw is going into to make sure the loctite sticks. You could use rubbing alcohol to clean the threads or a mild household cleaning solvent.

Nail polish works well too if you don't have loctite. That's what a lot of the metro-sexual hockey players use. :P
