i love it how some of you are saying leinart is a little B**** but arent saying any reasons why.  i guess losing only 2 games in your college career, winning 2 championships and a heisman makes all us guys who were never good enough to play elite college football jealous.  and if leinart is so classless with his comments, what about young yelling at the college gameday guys "whose heisman"??? look when you interview guys seconds after you win or lose, things are gonna come out that they will regret later.  but i am sure none of you have ever said something in the heat of the moment and regreted it later.  look the game was one of the best football games period.  each team was soo balanced and even it was gonna come down to the end.  the game was one on two 4th down plays, Texas defense stopping SC on 4th and 2, and SC's defense not stopping young on 4th and 5.  what i dont get is that leinart had an unbelieveable game too, a better "QB" game statistics wise then young, but young had soo much heart he willed his team to win.

Leinart is a bitch for those comments he made, period. Regardless if you haven't lost in however many years, you simply do not say that you were the better team after you were beaten. The fact Vince Young alone beat them doesn't make it any better. Leinhart displayed poor sportsmanship, and its suprising coming from him. All season long he had been a very classy guy, especially when it came to Bush and the Heisman. I thought that he was different from the rest of the team in terms of their lack of class, but that was proven false. And nobody is takin away anything from him. He had a good game himself, and he had a great college career. That isn't the point.

Let Young celebrate. Shit, its not like anybody gave them a chance before the game. You didn't see Sportscenter comparing Texas to the top 10 teams of all time, did you?

1) Texans--best thing for them to do is trade down and get an o-line because they have a good young QB and RB.

2) Saints--literally have no QB and will take Leinart/Young

3) Titans--Need help everywhere but would make sense taking Leinart since Chow is the OC here.

I can see Oakland trying to trade up to get Leinart, even the Jets.

yes texas should trade down (hopefully to the 49ers, i would love for bush to go there)

if the saints take leinart i hope they move to LA the following year, for any of these 3 players to go to the saints right now would not be good, their is no organization/stability in that team. the owner sucks!

I don't know if that's exactly what kosy was trying to say, however, I do believe that.

Young should have been the Heisman, he proved it last night. That's why the voting should be done AFTER bowl games. Then Jason White would not have gotten it two years ago either, that was a mistake. I'm not comparing Bush to White, that's for sure. White was not as good as everyone thought, but Bush is. It's just that Young is better. Not by much, but I think he is. But enough about that.

i think the heisman is flawed, it isnt the Most Vauable player, it is just the best player. Hands down Young was the MVP, you take him away from that team they are maybe a top 15 team. bush won the heisman because of 2 things, he had a unbelievable game against ND (which was nationally telivised) and he had 512 yards against fresno st (at the time ranked i believe 15) youngs 465 yards yesterday was awsome, but bushs 512 was just as good, if not better because it was almost all running yards. but about the leinart thing, i agree it wasnt the greatest thing to say, but to say leinart is a little b**** because of it is just plain stupid

I never said it was ok for Young to say Bush didn't deserve the Heisman. But regardless, I'd still side in favor of Texas/Young on this one because I think its way different to be completely written off and upset the heavy favorites than it is to be heavily favored and get upset. I may not have gotten as into the media coverage as some, but I didn't hear one person give Texas a chance at the game. That said, Texas in a way earned the right to be a little cocky after the game. USC on the other hand should take it in stride.

He got by for two years playing shitty defenses. And, Leinart has ONE championship, not two. Guess those Heisman voters see the mistake they made...LOL...Although one could arguee Reggie Bush did deserve the Heisman up to that point, he is a dominating player....But Vince Young was just amazing in that game, showed all those voters who was the true leader of his team and just how valuable he really is.

Actually, a lot of people were saying Texas to win. Everyone knew it would be close and exciting, and from what I saw before the game, I'd say predictions were in favor of USC, but not by much. Probably somewhere in the 60/40 range I would guess. But SC was not as heavily favored as they were last year.

the same was said about a QB out of ND, Joe Montana. Every single person i have heard have said Leinart will be a good pro QB because he has the mind, he is one of the smartest players. you dont have to have a great arm to be a good QB, you have to be smart and read the plays, which he excels at. you can whine all you want about the championship totals, but records show they share the championship with LSU. http://www.ncaasports.com/football/mens/history, blame the BCS not USC for their not being 1 champion.

oh i guess the press and all of you missed the story that after the game, lienart and bush went to the texas locker room and told the team how good they played and that they are champions now and to wear the crown with pride and defend it well, thats about as classy as it gets boys!

He has? I hadn't heard that. My feeling was if she is willing to come to Eugene, Oregon just to watch him play, he has a shot. If he has already tagged the assistant than its guaranteed.
