I´m not a Devils fan but am happy he´s back. He´s got 5 points in 2 games....he´s one of those guys you have to watch in the new NHL.

Evidently it wasn't a Cap move:

The move came a day after the return of forward Patrik Elias, but a source indicated Wednesday that the Devils still have $900,000 room under the salary cap with Mogilny in the lineup so the club was not forced to put him on waivers.

''There was cap room prior to this happening, it had absolutely nothing to do with the cap,'' Devils GM and interim coach Lou Lamoriello told The Canadian Press.

''It was just a personnel decision.''

In fact, Elias would not have been allowed to play Tuesday night had the Devils been over the cap.

'We're going to see what the waivers bring and go a step at a time but this was not a cap decision,'' Lamoriello said.

Mogilny was third on the team in points, but I guess it was his lack of work ethic. They should get rid of Kozlov next.
