You should reset his post count, or drop it down some, I'll search for meaningful posts of his if you'd like and make that his post count. Should deter crap from being spewn, and he'd have to work for buy/sell capabilities.

It's hit and miss on a game to game basis for the trap. If they allow a little slack, then I can see Detroit getting knocked off. The West will have a strong 8th seed.

It only takes one hot goalie to turn your favored 1st seed into losers! Beware the hot goalie at playoff time. Hasek will be expected to make the big saves. When the 8th seed goalie starts pulling them out of his hat, look out. There is always a hot goalie carrying his team beyond expectations. That is the player to figure out now who it will be. That is why I like Kipper. Maybe the Flames only score 2 goals a game in playoffs but that is enough for a goalie like Kipper to win with. He has been there before and he is also not playing in the Olympics for Finland. Some teams will be hurting when all their star Olympic players come back from Italy. Just another piece of the puzzle to consider.

BTW, teams that make those surprising runs deep into the playoffs don't "usually" have a hot goalie at that time, they all have the hot goalie at that time. :D

First time teams in the playoffs worry me. That being said, Lightning are Cup champs, Flames went to Finals, and Ducks went to Finals. So once again, what do I know?!!

It would be great to see Canes go deep. That would be twice in the Finals in less than 10 years, more than Rangers in 25 years. :lol:
