Since this season's over, surely there are Sundin rumors popping out now.

Realistically, who would be interested in Sundin for close to $7mil/yr? I think has another year remaining on his contract. He is...what?...35 yrs old now.

Despite the lost yesterday, there was a positive...Berg will be out of the lineup for a little while :P

He's still effective and who knows what he'd do with a scoring winger or two on his line. God knows that won't happen on the Leafs for him. I'm hoping the Devils can swing a deal for him in my sick little fantasy.

Sundin's cap hit is only $6.3, so that's a little better.

Help is on the way, apperantly Jay Harrison has been called up for Saturday night, so your starting 6 are

Kaberle - Khavanov

Kronwall - Klee

Woz - Harrison

SCARY!

Belfour was that bad and they didn't get any breaks. A weak call on Steen and a refusal to pull the face-off outside the zone after a Buffalo penalty opened up the game. It's been very sad to watch the team try and compete, it's been frustrating to see them battling and get no breaks at all.

Alot of rumours when the Leafs are losing, and I seriously doubt that one. Quinn has more pull in the organization than anyone else, and they lose that he's "Canada's coach" so I can't see him leaving. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fergie get the axe, which would upset me.

He's still effective and with an elite winger, he can be lethal.

What I meant to say was that we won't be able to get much in return for Sundin.

Yea...I can't see Quinn getting the axe before the Olympics...he IS the head coach.

And what happens if he wins another gold medal? Makes the leafs look a bit stupid.

or makes Canada look really good. As of this moment 2 of the 3 coaches on Team Canada are out of the playoffs and alot of the Leafs lack of success has been on his shoulders.

With the Canadian roster as strong as it is? It makes nobody look stupid. The only way Quinn will look stupid is if they don't get the gold.

With more talent than any other country, you don't have to be a great coach to win with Canada's roster.

these have been my thoughts all along, like really, how much coaching does 10 year vet really need. Not to mention, almost every player on the team has international competetion experience.

Last time the Leafs went 0-8.....Pat Burns found his way out of a job...

Leafs finally win one...a bid load off of Quinn's shoulder.

They played a fairly solid game all round. It was also nice to O'Neil finally scored a goal.
