Did anybody saw the Maurice Richard movie made by Charles Binamé? or it is only Québec made...

This movie is EXCELLENT, it show is life from 17yr till the end of his career, all the Bullshit he went through because he is french..

it is a really good movie, if you can see it, go for it, maybe it is on p2p program and you can download it...

Funny thing: Sean Avery play in this movie,a french movie, but he make stupid statement about french people... lecavalier,dandenault and quintal i think also play in this movie...

If you can understand french, or accept to listen to french.very good movie about guy who was playing in the 1950...

yea, this movie is really amazing...they asked about 100 person to tell them their vision of the life of richard.. so the movie is very accurate..

How tought were their life...they work in the after-noon and then go play hockey in night...

It is a really good story about how player in this range of year were living...the day when richard moved and 1 hours after we scored 5 gal and 3 assist against the red wings!

to show how strong he is(not only he could play the puck but he could be tought also), (in the movie at least) he fight 2 times.

i hope you guys can see it...in the french version everytime they spoke english they were subtitles..

One of the thing that pissed me off the most was when maurice was interviewind in english, and the interviewer were making fun of his language(the way he talked) in the newspapers...what a bunch of moron...

Over the years at the CSGA trade show in Montreal I have met a lot of famous hockey stars including Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull, Johnny Bower, Pavel Bure, and Gordie Howe. The one guy I met who I really felt I was shaking the hand of someone special was Maurice "Rocket" Richard. It was in the late 90s and I will never forget seeing the Rocket.

THN ran a short article about this movie a few issues ago. The English version will be under a different title, and I think the English version comes out in March.

The version to be released in the U.S. will be called "The Rocket" and should open sometime in March, from what I've read.
