Tour Shaft

One of the guys that I play with uses this shaft. He has by far the HARDEST slapshot I have ever seen (not joke, goalies dont like to play with us because they complain about bruising under their pads). This is the shaft he uses and I was thinking about picking up a lighter flex version of it (the 100 flex, his is 140 flex). I haven't seen much Tour gear on the ice and was wondering if anybody here has has delt with them. I tried his stick out and LOVED the way it felt, but couldnt stand how stiff it was.

the Savage and Salvage Wave only come in a 133 Flex. The Spoiler and Spoiler Wave come in 85,100,110.

140 flex is insane...

yea it is.. it was weird trying to get a slapshot with it. It felt like I was playing with a lightweight steel pipe. I dont have the weight to get a good flex out of it so my shots looked like a shot down ufo in slow motion (if they even got off the ice).

The best D-man on our team uses that aswell, and he has an Insane slapper, it doesn't make his shot harder than with his previous shaft's (koho 4440) but the shaft itseld outlast the others by a huge margin due to the extremely stiff flex.

He is 6-4 220-225 and has a really good shooting motion both for slappers and snap shots.

He kept complaining about his shaft's going soft, so pretty much creamed his pants when he found the Tour Savage shaft (flex X-4 stiff, say's so on the shaft!)

in a LHS.

Another guy has the wave, and basically (imo) the savage is just a super-stiff wave. They have the same grip coating and feel, while the wave is lighter.
