RBK 8k helmet help *urgent game tonite*

I just got the 8k from the buy and sell section yesterday and I've been trynig for hours to mount my visor with no success.

The problem is the screws on the side of the helmet. It appears they were tightened too much and when i try to unscrew them it just turns the silver bolt on the other side around in circles, so the screw does not come out what so ever. I've tried wedging things in there, using a screw driver to hold the bolt in place while i try to unscrew the screw but nothing is working....please help I have a game tonight and I have to play with the visor on.

yeh i think i can wedget hat in there if i pull the plastic back a bit. I'll go try that right now, hope i dont' warp the plastic or anything

a little wd-40 may help loosen the screw, otherwise you may have to drill out the screw.

damn....

the screw turns fine but the problem is gthe bolt on the other side is turning with it instead of staying in place, thus preventing the screw from coming out

flat head screwdriver on the thing that wont come out (inside of helmet)...It has a groove in it correct?

yeh it has two very shallow slits on it

ive tried that, can't really hold the thing in place. I think ill get a teammate to try to help me at the rink..otherwise I'll plop on a cage and hope it works w/o the j clips

i say find a penny or a dime to stick in there it wont be has hard to get the leverage,(use this instead of the screw driver/needle nose on the inside) it might bend the coin but oh well the helmets worth more than the coin anyways
