He won't win it, pretty much based on the fact he got it undeservedly last year.

It'll probably come down to Kobe, Billups, and Lebron.

Just because he scored 81 points doesnt mean he will win the MVP honors. He has to carry the lakers into the playoffs then we'll see.

if they go to the playoffs, wich i doubt, in think he is a strong candidate.

also, i think tayshaun prince as played pretty well, i wish hed win mvp, but i doubt it.

Edit: Okay, who other than PLD would use that as an excuse. I think the NBA should never be mentioned on the boards here since I'm sure .01% would have even a sniff of a clue about it.

Kobe has a team with nobody on it in the playoffs right now, if they stay there, he wins it. If not, and Detroit wins 67-68 then it's Billups.

i do know stuff about the nba, i was just saying who i thoguth would win...i mean realistically, unless they go far this year kobe wont win. but if we are speaking realistically i dont think steve nash will either.

I think if they make the playoffs Kobe will get it. Realistically the rest of the team is bunk because Odom doesn't even want to be there. As for a Piston getting the MVP I can't see that happening only because they play such a team-oriented game that it's hard for any one of them to stand out, not to take anything away from Billups.

He's sorta become the figurehead for the team though, sorta the defacto MVP even though they play as a team.

I don't mind Nash and all, but on Cold Pizza this morning theys aid Nash has even less to work with than Kobe. Just Marion, Bell, James Jones, Diaw.

Hmm, that is true. Plus I think they're even averaging more points a game than last year, but I think he got this year's deserved MVP last year, when I think he shouldn't have won.

I'll just be happy it won't be Duncan because I want someone with a pulse to win this year.

Yeah, last year's MVP was Shaq, but Nash won it on the flash of the Suns. He pretty much would have to lap the field to win it again.
