Eager showed a lot of jump early on, but I haven't seen it as much lately. I did like the Carter-Umberger-Eager line when they had it together though.

Honestly, I don't know what they'd do if all the centers were healthy. But in the past Primeau has gotten more ice time than Handzus.

And Handzus hasn't been playing A LOT on the wing this year. He's been a great two way center this year and been excellent on faceoffs.

Being in the crease doesn't matter, but I thought he might have made contact with Esche during the tip. The replay they showed at the rink looked like he skated into Esche after the goal, but I couldn't really tell.

My bad, it just seems like every time I turn on a Flyer game they're talking about Handzus playing wing. I think the guy is really underrated and could easily be a #2 center on almost any team in the league. He does anything they ask him to do and never complains, you have to love Handzus and Kapanen for being so versatile.

Don't be surprised if Kap retires. There is a change in the guard coming to that team in the next year.

Well, that is very true but his shoulder is a mess, so I think he may call it a career after this year. That isn't me speculating its what my boy in the organization tells me.
